Description

A new coordinate system has been added. this is a hybrid system, which uses s (stretched terrain following) levels where the depth is below a specified amount, and switches to regularly spaced sigma levels when the depth is shallower than this. A new stretching function was also added, which has the option for increasing resolution on the middle of the water column.
The changes are confined to the domzgr.F90 file (see attached) with a couple of namelist additions.
A more detailed description of the changes is given in the attached file.
The changes were assessed with the NVTK using the ORCA2_LIM and GYRE configurations, as well as being run with the changes switched on and the output assessed.
