Install PCMDI metric package (TGCC+IDRIS)

TGCC refuses outgoing git connection to github (PCMDI metric package source repo)

We installed a git relay at igcmg@ciclad that can then be cloned using git over ssh from p86ipsl@curie and rpsl035@adapp

Currently trying to install it here : p86ipsl@curie71:/ccc/work/cont003/dsm/p86ipsl/PCMDI-MP/wgne-wgcm_metrics

Ongoing. Some difficulties because the metric package only wants gnu compiler and totally ignore TGCC environment (whatever module has been loaded ....) ...

undefined reference to `pthread_create'

--> pourtant présent dans /usr/include/pthread.h

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lpthreads (je ne comprends pas le "s" à la fin d'ailleurs)

--> /usr/lib/libpthread.so existe mais pas /usr/lib/libpthreads.so

Has been installed on ciclad-ng easily

Installation has been done at TGCC. IDRIS will follow.

/ccc/work/cont003/dsm/p86ipsl/PCMDI-MP/work_install/PCMDI_METRICS/

PMCDI-MP, uv-cdat and cmake code is pull "git pull" via crontab on ciclad. The procedure to install from TGCC is to "git pull" from ciclad (which is allowed). Previous difficulties was due to firewall constraints trying to download external VTK sources from github. TGCC refuses to openup github access.

VTK has been deactivated in PMCDI-MP. and now the install works.
