When expressed per gC of root, the N uptake should be twice more than the one expressed per gDW of root, not twice less. So one should multiply by 2., not divide by 2. And so vmax should be equal to 2016 ug (gC)-1 d-1 (not 504).

It may partly compensate (half compensation) the error mentioned above about conv_fac.
