src_tests contains several unittests from Orchidee. This folder works independently from the fcm tool due to technical requirements. Even though, the  makeorchidee_fcm option -unittest allows the compilation and execution of the tests.

Use the tests located in the folder as an example to introduce new ones.

 * pFUnit Installation

pFUnit is a fortran unit test library.  
In order to install pFUnit follow the steps shown in the guide:

Note: compile in serial mode

 * How to run the tests (done in ADA hpc)

- Bring pFUnit library to ADA
Copy the files from another machine

- Define the Environment variables:
export F90_VENDOR=INTEL
export F90=ifort

- Compile
make tests

- Install 
make install INSTALL_DIR=$HOME/own_libs/pffunit-serial

- Define in your .basrch
export PFUNIT=/linkhome/rech/lmd/rlmd998/own_libs/pffunit-serial

- Compile orchidee
cd /go/to/orchidee/folder

- Go the tests folder
cd src_tests

- Compile the tests
make clean && make tests.x

- Run the tests
./tests.x
