DEV: only tested on a very specific case. Fixes a bug where deciduous trees where growing for a couple of years and then stopping to grow for a couple of years before starting to grow again. The bug was caused by some of the phenology flags but only occured when running the model with a run.def that contains just one PFT in addition to bare soil.
