Input emission files for scenarios are given by species, with the 2015-2100 period being sampled only at years 2015, 2020, 2030, 2040, 2050, 2060, 2070, 2080, 2090 and 2100.
Therefore, a time interpolation is necessary.

All time interpolations are performed in one go prior to any file creation (IDL script). The script then operates upon a 2015-2100 continuous input file.
